EKATA (Unity) is a gathering of like-minded Indian citizens from the south Indian state Kerala (Malayalees) living in UAE. It stands for upholding India’s great tradition, culture, heritage and provides an avenue for the next generation to understand their culture, tradition, state, country, history, native language, with the foremost vision being uplift of the downtrodden among the society through social service and charity.

The group has been active in the UAE since 1998. However, it was transformed into an association and was named "EKATA" (Expatriate Keralites’ Association for Tradition & Arts) during the inaugural ceremony held in Sharjah on April 20, 2007.
